Here's the deal we have thousands of customers who already trust us with their insurance. Your job is to take care of them — and when the moment's right, help them realize they need more coverage than they think. This isn't a cold-call grind. It's relationship-driven work inside a competitive, high-energy agency that rewards people who go the extra mile. Our new Vestavia Hills office opens March 1st, and we're building the team now.
What You'll Do
- Service our existing book of business — policy changes, billing questions, claims support
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities during every customer interaction
- Process policy endorsements, renewals, and new applications accurately
- Follow up on pending items, outstanding documents, and renewal reviews
- Educate customers on coverage options so they actually understand what they're buying
- Maintain detailed notes and records in our agency management system
- Hit monthly service and cross-sell targets (yes, there are goals — that's how you earn more)
What We're Looking For
- Active Alabama Property & Casualty license preferred — or willingness to obtain within 60 days
- Previous insurance or customer service experience (bonus if it's in a State Farm agency)
- Excellent communication skills — phone, email, and in-person
- Comfortable with technology and learning new systems quickly
- Self-motivated and competitive — you want to hit numbers, not just show up
- Positive attitude and thick skin (insurance customers aren't always sunshine and rainbows)
